Hijama Treatment
Cupping or Hijama, is an ancient treatment that can relieve back pain, neck pain, headaches and other problems. The suction action tightens the skin and increases blood flow to the affected area.
In Wet Cupping skin acts as a localized filter to the blood so by removing it from the body with small incisions at the site of cup it frees up its healing capacity.
This method involves making small incisions in the skin before applying the cup. The suction created by the cup draws out a small amount of blood, which is believed to have healing properties.
Dry cupping: In this method, a dry cup is applied to the skin, creating suction through the use of a hand pump or by heating the air inside the cup.
Facial cupping: This method involves the use of small cups on the face to improve skin tone and reduce wrinkles.
Moving cupping: This method involves moving the cups along the skin in a gliding motion to massage the area and increase blood flow.
Flash cupping: This method involves rapidly applying and removing cups from the skin in succession. This can be used to treat conditions such as colds and flu.
