Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical peeling treatment. This requires the use of a sterile surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin. The skin’s surface is removed, removing the top layer of dead skin and fine vellus hair (aka peach fluff). Contrary to popular belief, hair does not grow back thicker, darker or stronger. You may also hear this procedure called “skin blading,” “skin resurfacing,” or “epidermal equalization.” It is a non-traumatic method of instant skin rejuvenation that exfoliates the epidermis three times more effectively than microdermabrasion.
